Some people have written about seeing colors made up of groups of dots. The room size transparent sheets of color float across across a room, one by one. A sheet's dots or particles vibrate like atoms, becoming brighter as they are right before you, intensifying, like golden glitter, then dissipating, while another sheet has begun floating across the room, followed by another. (No, the sheets don't follow your eyes like floaters. The sheets follow a similar path, regardless of one's eye movement.)
